‘Colts come out on top in horrendous conditions at Shielfield Park in a 3-2 victory over Berwick Rangers.

It would be ‘Colts to take another early lead from a defensive slip-up, with Thomas Horn capitalising on the error in the 9th minute.

The rest of the half would seem to be fairly even, with both teams struggling to play football in the conditions.

However, ‘Colts would manage to double their advantage in the 36th minute through Danny Hatfield with a wonderful finish across the keeper as he gets on the end of a perfect through-ball from Carrick McEvoy.

Although we had the 2-0 lead at the break, the second half wouldn’t prove to be so simple as Taylor Hendry would pull one back in the 62nd minute.

Henry Wright would then go on to level the match for Berwick Rangers in the 70th minute, leaving 20 minutes for the game to be won.

‘Colts would get the golden opportunity to do so, being awarded a penalty after Danny Hatfield was brought down in the box.

Josh Jack would comfortably convert to his bottom left corner, putting ‘Colts back ahead in the 83rd minute and hoping to see the game out.

Which we would do so, claiming all three points under horrendous weather conditions in Berwick.
